BLACK DOMINO with BLUE CHAIN were my first prints, for my first kimonos. Black Domino was inspired by the famous photo of a woman in Kyoto in the 1940s with cigarette smoke blowing out of her nose. I love midcentury graphic kimono prints.

A big, heavy, chunky block. It takes a strong arm, a steady hand, and a patient eye to print.

Hand blockprinted by master printers in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. 

Base fabric is cotton/linen.
