Beautiful small carpet from the Jaffs of Kurdistan. Two very similar pieces are available. Each sold separately.

This small carpet was the front side of a fancy bag - perhaps part of a dowry set saddle bag. The back was likely a striped kilim.

The Jaff Kurds’ region straddles current borders of Iraq and Iran. Their beautiful weavings are highly prized.

Fine weaving in dark indigo blue, and a range of pastel apricots to tans and browns. A perfect scatter or powder room size.
