Mujur, a town outside Kirsehir, was an important place in Byzantine and Ottoman eras. Mucur in Turkish, the town is between Ankara and Kayseri in Central Anatolia.

In stunning condition, this Mujur carpet has finely-spun wools in rich colors knotted in a balanced, even design. Obsessively beautiful.
